You’ve given so much to everyone else.
It’s time to get your pink back.
Personalized psychiatric care for women navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life’s transitions — with dedicated support for pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Why Pink Horizon?
At Pink Horizon Psychiatry, we believe every woman deserves hope, healing, and the opportunity to feel like herself again. The name Pink Horizon represents the promise of a new beginning — the horizon symbolizes brighter days ahead, while pink reflects compassion, strength, and the unique journey of womanhood.
Our inspiration also comes from the phrase “get your pink back.” While often shared as a metaphor, it refers to the idea that flamingos can appear less vibrant while devoting tremendous energy to raising their young, then regain their brilliant color as they recover. Today, “getting your pink back” has become a meaningful way to describe rediscovering yourself after periods of intense caregiving, major life transitions, or emotional challenges.
Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, anxiety, depression, ADHD, perimenopause, menopause, or another chapter of life, our mission is to help you reclaim your well-being with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.
Because every woman deserves the chance to look toward a brighter horizon — and get her pink back. At least parts of it.

Shannon Main, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Shannon works with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, trauma, and major life transitions, with a particular focus on women's mental health through every stage of life. She has a special interest in perinatal and postpartum psychiatry, supporting individuals through the emotional and psychological shifts that can accompany pregnancy, parenthood, and family life.
While Shannon incorporates elements of psychotherapy into her visits, her practice is focused on psychiatric medication management rather than talk therapy, including experience with GeneSight® genetic testing to help guide medication choices. She is currently providing care virtually to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire at the time of their appointment, with plans to offer in-person visits in the future.
She believes psychiatric care should feel collaborative, not clinical — a partnership built on trust, so you always feel informed and in control of your own treatment.
New patients can start with a free 15-minute phone consultation — no obligation, just a chance to see if we're the right fit. This consultation is for determining whether the practice may be an appropriate fit and does not constitute a psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.
“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress.”— Sophia Bush
Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes — most major insurances are accepted, and private pay is also available. You can check your specific coverage when booking through Headway.
What's the difference between medication management and therapy?
Medication management focuses on diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions with medication, with visits centered on symptoms, side effects, and treatment response. Shannon incorporates elements of psychotherapy into visits but does not provide dedicated talk therapy.
What states do you serve?
Telehealth appointments are currently available to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire at the time of their appointment — not simply patients who reside in those states. Shannon works with adults ages 18 and older.
How do I book an appointment?
New patients can start with a free 15-minute phone consultation, or book directly through Headway.
